XBMC Rarely crashes for me these days, but this one occurred after an Internet radio station (Groove Salad - Drone Zone) had been playing about six hours. The specifics:

Mac Mini 1.66 GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM
OS X 10.6.6 (10J567)
XBMC 10.0 (SVN-35648)
