Hi to all !

I am Bärbel an i have build for me a new HTPC with XBMC.

My Hardware is:

Mainboard Asus AT5IONT-I
SSD Disk
4Gb Ram
Windows 7 Profesionel 64bit SP1
External DVD Drive
Nighly Build form Today.
All Media Files on a NAS

My Problem is...
I play a MP3 from the Album Folder without any problems

now i what to open the DIV MP3 Folder ... ( on this Folder there are ~3500mp´s) in the background the mp3 from the Album folder is playing..

When i can see the flie list ( from the div folder ) the playing mp3 is playing choppy ?!?!? Are there to many files in the Folder ?? Or is it a bug ?

Presumably XBMC is attempting to read the tags from all 3,500 mp3s so it can display nice filenames. On a relatively humble PC all that network activity can slow the system down enough for you to notice. I'd split up the mp3s into separate folders so you don't have too many mp3s per folder.

thanks for your fast reply.

Can i switch off the Tag reading function ?
That xbmc shows me only the file names ?

This is my Div / Party folder an when i made a PARTY i want to use it for schuffel play ...

System settings, Music, File lists, and disable the "Enable tag reading" option.
