Performance tuning Dharma on Windows?
#1
I have many HD MKV files which play back flawlessly in VLC on my XP HTPC, but when I try to play them in XBMC the video stutters so badly it's unwatchable. Is there a performance tuning guide or some steps I can follow to increase my XBMC video playback performance?

I'm running XBMC Dharma 10.0 official release on XP SP3 with latest patches and a BFG 8800GT.

Enabling dvxa2 is about it as far as I'm aware, but dvxa2 doesn't work under xp.
