hello, i did a lot of searching and fiddling before posting, and i apoligize in advance if what i want is too obvious to expert scripters.
i would like to load a jpg from a website on my network (and possibly have it be the background while in xbmc.) the page is a .asp file but all i really need is the image at http://x.x.x.x/wug1.jpg
background info:
the server is a what's up gold network monitoring server for my corporate network, i access it via http accross a lan-to-lan vpn tunnel to my office. the image is grabbed from an apache webserver that requires a username and password to access the file. image is 906x768 pixels at the current time, but may change as network items are added to the map. i do not think it is feasable to predict or lock the image size.
