I am not sure this is related to XBMC but someone here might be able to help.

I notice that occasionally the power light comes on the ATV2 for a short time, then it goes off... This is noticed durning the night normally as the device is in a dark bedroom - similar behaviour as to when a TV remote is used.

I am thinking network ping but my Airport Extreme shows nothing for the ATV2 in it's log, does anyone know where the console log can be found on the ATV2?

I found it at /private/var/log/syslog if anyone else is looking.
