I came home today to see that Apple has put an update together for the Apple TV. I ofcoarse avoided the update and went on to watch some files through Xbmc. For some reason, my files will not play for more then 5min before xbmc crashes back to the main menu.

I called my brother who has 2 Apple Tv's set up at his house. And low and behold he has the same issue. This happening for both of us at the same time! Any one else run into this issue? Did Apple add something on my Apple TV without my permission?

go back to your atv2 menu, wait for the update to appear, click later....you'll be all good for a while

Fixing the host file for Nito TV update disable did the trick. I haven't had any issues for the last couple hours!
