I recall a co-worker of mine having an iPhone app that showed real time track positions and F1 info. Maybe you can port or duplicate some of the code used with it.

Well, I'm guessing these will only be going into your library once the race is finished, right?
You could always do the notes yourself (helped along by an EPG or something, they're usually not bad for that sort of thing) as the season progresses, maybe even post them here after.

Or were you looking for something you could scrape?

I don't get exactly what these are for. Are you ripping the races and using them in XBMC as a TV show?

Correct!
thetvdb does not allow sports so the scraper doesn't work.
So, I had to do it manually and I thought I'd share my work.
