So has anybody got this all together in some reasonable format that could be zipped up? I'm still struggling to get it all to work right and look presentable in XBMC. The race has started and I need to get things working!

I'm a huge F1 fan, I'll see if I can't upload some of my fanart soon. How do you get the races into XBMC though? You download them?
Nice thread! |

Ok, here's what I've got for the Australian GP, but I can't test it yet.
Let me know if it works and any changes that need to be made! Hoobie7 Quote:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?> |

I was just dreaming of a streaming website that contained videos of every F1 race and included classic races with an XBMC plugin (I'd pay for this if it existed). Something like Icefilms would work for this and it has a few races that are available from last year, so if anyone wants to upload more content to Mega *cough* you'd be my best friend

I have the Australian GP in my Videos\Tv Shows\Formula 1\2011 folder but I cant get it to show up in XBMC under my TV shows.
The "Videos\Tv Shows\Formula 1" folder contains the following files: backdrop.jpg fanart.jpg folder.jpg logo.png series.xml tvshow.nfo The "Videos\Tv Shows\Formula 1\2011" folder contains the following files: fanart.jpg folder.jpg S2011E01 - Australia.m2ts S2011E01 - Australia.nfo When I go into TV Shows I have a icon for formula one but it is doesn't contain anything. Yet when I go into file mode I can play the file without any problems? Does anyone have any ideas on why the race isn't showing up? TIA! |

Ya I had a hell of a time getting it working.
I don't remember what I did to get it all working exactly. First off do you have XBMC set up to scan for new content at startup? If you don't you prolly should. Also try going in to TV shows, hit C and select update library. Barring that, I'd say post your tvshow NFO and episode NFO. I'll compare it to mine. Hoobie7 |

I looks like it was a simple fix. I changed the season from 2011 to 11 and it now the Australian GP shows up. Dunno, maybe XBMC isn't y2k complaint. haha ;-)
And yeah, I had it set to auto-update and also tried to scan for new content but neither of those did the trick until I changed the season number. |

@purplehaze
I had same issue, solved it by same tinkering The season-episode numbering had to be s11e01 or like i put it 1101 - Australia.* 201101 wouldnot work. Officially, The 2011 Formula One season is the 62nd FIA Formula One season So s62e01 would be more relevant. |
