Guys, I know you are busy with other elements of XBMC.

But please take XBMC helper out of the application bundle and stick it in the user folder.

Today 10.1 comes along, I download, only I am not allowed to replace the older XBMC because XBMC helper is in operation. I know to remove the currently in use XBMC (Even though its quit) out of the apps folder, but others won't know.

Even I am concerned though. I probably should not delete the older XBMC because an element of it is still in operation.

Just make sure to turn off "Allow start of XBMC using remote" before you do the update.

Always plenty to 'just do' but I would imagine most people just jumping on this train might not think to do that.

I know to do that and still forgot.

If you leave "Allow start of XBMC using remote" on then moving XBMCHelper will not help as it still won't be able to copy over it while it is running.
