Hi guys , i was wondering if such a system ;
gigabyte h55 mini atx mainboard
core i3 or i5 600 series cpu
win 7 with xbmc ,
is able to play 3d contents , bitstream hd audio via hdmi (and of course play very smooth 1080p) ?
Or do I need external graphics card gt430?

Two things:

1. You need a GT430 for 3D. No Intel GPU can do 3D properly.

2. Neither 3D nor HD audio bitstreaming works in XBMC.

Hımm , what about using external player in xbmc such as MPC-HC , I saw in another forum people using this in order to play hd audio via xbmc , I'm in the dawn of getting a new htpc system but if I wont be able to get hd audio or 3d from xbmc I'll think of buying nmt perhaps instead. Thanks for helping.

Yep, you can launch an external players. Power DVD can play 3D and MPC can bitstream HD audio.

wouldnt it be a good idea for him to get the gt340 anyway to future proof himself?
