Last time I checked DVBlink worked with gp2 4.0 or earlier. This version is ancient. Or rather ANCIENT. So it's not really a solution, at least if you want to watch your Dreambox directly.
If there's some kind of cash raise initiative for Dreambox plugin project, I'd like to participate.

im quite suprised nothing has been released yet seeing as alot of people have been requesting a plugin for the dreambox

Not really a good programmer, but I do want to see your code, although I will have a look at the code.
Is there a site to read up on the latest incarnation of the PVR API in XBMC?

I'm interessted too.
Would be great if someone can offer a solution to get the
dreambox right in live tv with epg recording etc.

I have a DM8000 (enigma2-experimental image + gp3) and some windows based xbmc clients, so if you need a alpha/beta tester for this combination, I'll be happy to help....
