Borders around video
#1
Hi!

First I thought it was just with badly created MP4 video files but it seems to be general on all my video files, either MP4, MKV (AVC/h264 encoded), AVI...

I have a 2" border all around my video when played with XBMC. I don't have this when I play them in WMC or MPC-HC or any other player I try.

The XBMC GUI is displayed fully without borders. I'm using a fullscreen window instead of true fullscreen, could this be the problem?

I have DXVA activated and video processing on SD material only. I'm also using the Ellipsis Skin.

Check your overscan settings for differemt resolutions in catalyst. I bet when xbmc switches to 24hz catalyst is underscanning. Simple test is to go into windows display settings and switch to 24hz.
