Boxee has it, PS3 has it, obviously they have an API. Looking at the .py from the Boxee version, it's a secure API.

It's such a good website/service, shocked it's not been mentioned on here once according to the search funtion. It used to be The Auteurs, now it's a bit different.
Anybody capable of making this plug-in fancy getting the ball rolling by trying to acquire access to the API? It's in their interests to expand to another platform.
[REQUEST] mubi plug-in.

I'll second that request. This http://mubi.com/ database has lots of rare info, not found anywhere else, on art films, independent shorts, underground authors, etc. They've got a plot synopsis for most of the entries, which is far more than IMDB or other databases can provide on many rare films. I've been manually updating many of my library entries using this database, it would be great if someone developed an Addon to scrape it. Thanks very much in advance!

I guess Mubi wants to keep the API closed. Maybe can be done via scraping. It's really a cool site, I'd love to see it on XBMC.
