So I can get theAcer Aspire Revo R3700 (Intel Atom D525, 1,8GHz, 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD, nVidia ION, Linux) for 300 euro
There is no way I can build it myself with atom/ion for that price
Only a celeron build comes near that price, bit more.
This is because I would like it to be at the same price as a pch c-200.
So my question now is is the celeron a better option or just go with the revo?

Ok thx.
Would replacing the sata disk with a solid state be worth it? If this is the fact wouldn't the ZOTAC ZBOXHD-ID11-E be a better choice?
I would like to still use my harmony one, read something about IR from HP with a specific serial, but it seems you can't just order them and on ebay it's all from hongkong or china.

well its always fun to have a SSD of course,
boot times are fast, produces virutally no heat, no sounds,
and makes your system really responsive...
But for your needs, its not a must have,,,
also u wanted to keep it ~ 300 so...

If I keep the price in mind and take a SSD it's better to take the Zotac and I could get that this evening if I would prefer that.
The acer needs to come from Germany and the SSD cost 70 euro.
Revo is DDR3 where Zotac is still DDR2
Revo has atom D525 where Zotac has D520
What about noise between the two?
