[LINUX] Video problems
#1
Hi, it's my first post here, so howdy to ya'll! :p

My HTPC:
Asus AT5IONT-i (with Atom D525 and Nvidia ION2)
Hynix 2x2Gb DDR3 1066mHz
Seagate 200Gb 7200RPM SATA 3.5" (old and nosy!)

I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 and I've installed XBMC with apt-get command. My screen is a Samsung 40LE530 and is connected by HDMI.

The problem is that the image seems jaggy, sometimes the upper and lower part of the image aren't perfectly aligned (I can notice a slight cut in the middle).

Could this be from incompatibility between Linux and ION2? Will I have to change to Windows 7? I rather use Linux, but...

Thanks! I think it solved the problem in XBMC, but I still get a weak image if I just open the movie in the ubuntu movie player.
What causes this problems? Have you got an explanation?
