[openelec]addon.zip not working in openelec

I cant seem to get addon.zip to install under the openelec version of xbmc. I have the addon.zip uploaded to my computer in the same directory that I installed aeon from. Just like the aeon skin, I install from zip and select the addon.zip file. no error messages. I then go to get addons and nothing was added. Aeon MQ is running fine just cant get the addon.zip to work. Can anyone help?

I am running openelec 0.99.3.
