XBMC crashing

Has anyone had a similar problem with XBMC in Apple Tv 2 crashing. I can be watching any movie for about 3 mins and then the xbmc crashes and goes back to my Apple tv home screen. I had 4.2.1 originally and then upgraded to 4.3 and used seasonpass to hack and the same problem has arrose, Im wondering if there is a problem with the apple tv2 itself. I have also tried greenpoisn RC6, Pwnage tool with the same results. What do you think?

I have the exact same issue. No matter what video I try to play, after 3 mins it crashes out back to the Apple TV home screen. Seems to have only started today. I had left my ATV on over the past week and when I turned my TV on today it was asking if I wanted to update and I chose no (of course)... I am running 4.2.1

Quite frustrating... is there logs that I can post to help in diagnosis?

I have searched the logs but came up with nothing. I use this unit in my daughters room and she does leave it on sometimes at night but I reverted back to the original software 4.2.1 but can not seem to fix the issue.

This has been answer a thousand times. It is the ATV trying to update the firmware. Read up on how to disable the update reminders.

I will try to create the log like you have done and post mine tonight, hopefully someone will come up with a solution. Im sure this will occur with everyone unless it is a problem with the unit itself.
