Or that ^^ . If XBMC isn't running at the time.

Then run "./mkdeb-xbmc-atv2.sh release"
Then transfer the deb to the atv2 and install with dpkg -i

Numus Wrote:Usually find packaging it is a little safer....
amet Wrote:not sure whats unsafe about copying XBMC.frapliance to ATV2 with Cyber duck, worst is that you forgot to killall AppleTV and you have to do it again.

Numus Wrote:packaging it makes it very nice :p also will automatically kill appletv and takes barely any time at all to do.. also lets you share if you really want to.
Rudepooch Wrote:I hope it's ok to ask this here...
What is the difference between the two 'latest' builds?
latest_atv2.deb
and
latest_ios.deb
Which would be appropriate for the iPhone? Either?
Rudepooch Wrote:Thanks Amet!
Also, there was a guy on here somewhere struggling with the installation because he got a "wget: command not found error".
If you are having that issue you need to install 'wget', and probably 'aptitude' too. Both are available on Cydia in the Telesphoreo Tengelo repo (http://apt.saurik.com/).
