Is it Kodi OK to make an addon for using my public library video streaming service?
#1
My public library has recently offered streaming of videos.
There is a registration process which includes a library account number etc.
But there is no other charge for viewing (beyond our municipal taxes).
There are time limits within which you can view the stream.
And there are limits on how many videos you can watch in a month.
But they take care of the DRM aspects (similarly to the way they do for ebooks)

In essence it's like the USTVNOW addon.

So if this meets with Kodi addon policy I would attempt to do it for my RPi2.

I don't suspect there's anything wrong with this. you need an account and all that and it would just be using Kodi instead of a webbrowser for watching?
