[RELEASE] Canada On Demand (Successor to CTV Properties)

I'm using the one from post 708, I thought it was the most recent one?

The script errors are known and reported errors, and are in queue to be fixed.
You should use the most recent version, 0.7.8 not 0.7.6 as it will not help.

tried a bunch of canadian proxys since i live in europe . not working.
tried proxy in xbmc settings - not working
tried proxy in canadaondemand settings - not working.
tried proxy in both - not working.

one time i thought it was working but it wasnt since i opened a folder at CBC and it opened a ton of them with the same names ...?!
but most of the times its script errors.

i'm running xbmc 12 frodo on windows vista
any help would be appreciated.

CTV Local News for Kitchener has not been working for a long long time....

I had a similar problem before. I found it was related to a secure DNS service I was using. Have you tried using a different DNS? I wrote a post about it HERE

There have been updates to the plugin to address the global, slice, hgtv, etc issues.

I've had problems trying to upgrade for a while. I first installed 0.7.4 a few months ago. When trying to upgrade I first uninstall that version then install the new version from the zipfile downloaded from the link above. All appears to go well but the version still shows as 0.7.4

I looked in the addon.xml file in the zip file and it shows version="0.7.8" so I'm sure I've got the right zip file.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

The version numbers and change log haven't been kept updated as they should be with every change.
But the latest one is the one you downloaded from the github repository, and if global news/tv, etc work, then you've got the newest changes.

Thanks icharania. With the other versions after 0.7.4 users reported seeing a new version number (not 0.7.4). To anyone else that has installed this latest version what version number shows for you?

tried several other proxies and had only luck with the radio broadcasts from CBC :-(
i have 12.2 frodo on windows 7 64bits (accidentaly i said windows vista..)
2.4 rtmplib KVS build
got the canadaondemand add-on from the git as instructed. still no luck. i give up
