Unfortunately, when I tried both links but then just entered an "empty directory" - probably because the file path was direct to the zip file. Guess that I need to use a truncated file path? if so, kindly provide.

Not sure what you mean by empty directory. All you have to do is download any of the zip files and unzip them under /addons directory in xbmc.

Use PuTTY to login to your xbmc device (login as root)

At command line type wget https://github.com/k3oni/plugin.video.wo...master.zip

This will download the master.zip file

Just tested right now and seems to be working fine on my VM but it does a bit of buffering before playing.

I managed to install this via the Add-on Installer. The version is 1.3.5.5 and not 1.3.5.9. I see the Update button greyed out under the Add-on information setting for World News. Any leads on how to update it?
