[RELEASE] World News Live (Al Jazeera, CSPAN, CNN)

UP!!!, CNN live feed 1,2,3,4 still does not work for me.
Any solution fixing this?

Attention Canadian Users
There is another plugin in the repository called Canada On Demand which contains a huge amount of Canadian content. the forum thread can be found here.


Installation
The plugin is available through its own repository. To install it, download this zip file.

Then, in XBMC, go to System -> Addons -> Install From Zip File, and choose the zip file you just downloaded. A new repository is now listed under 'Get Addons' where you can find 'World News Live' ready to install. Once it's installed the plugin will keep itself up to date, you never have to worry about it again.

It seemed that the connection string may be wrong so I tried a couple different things based on what I got from http://rt.com/on-air/. If I click the 'Embed' button there it shows some connection details, but nothing I tried worked. I tried this by updating channels.py.

Any ideas?

also, there are three stream quality settings available on the bottom left of the player on http://rt.com/on-air/, so if we can get the highest level stream quality working this would be really great!

Yes... please can someone help out with getting rt news back up and running. It's the only news channel I'll spend my time watching.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with the author? The plug-in is a bit out of date. CNN and others are no longer work.

Yeah, CNN would be great. The author's contact details are easily found by clicking on the donate button. It takes you to paypal and asks if you want to pay andre******@gmail.com.
