Weather backdrops

Ok, said it before and I'll say it again, I love this skin.

Was playing with the backdrops today and noticed something interesting. I have the weather backdrop set to default, but when I am on the weather selection on the Home screen, it is actually cycling through multiple backdrops. So my question is, where is the skin actually looking for the backdrops?

Is it possible that I am actually looking at backdrops that were selected from another skin, and stored in the guisettings.xml file. I had previously been using Weather+ script, and had installed backdrop pack to get weather specific backdrops.
