Well, let's start from the beginning.
If you have ports 8082 and 9777 forwarded on your router then remove them. I didn't need to do that to get mine to work.
Follow the steps at this link again. http://code.google.com/p/android-xbmcrem..._and_later
Make sure you use port 8080 on xbmc and the app. Maybe 8082 is being used by another program.
I know it's frustrating, but hang in there!

Yeah sadly that link is where i tried before and no luck. 8082 is free as 8080 is not and it works on my phone if i use the webui just this remote does not work. Oh well thanks for the help. I really do appreciate it
