[MAC] Super-slow menus
#1
Laptop Specs:
1st Gen MacBook Pro, Core Duo 2.0gHz, 2gb RAM

I have been using XBMC to play content for quite some time. The last update prior to the most recent I saw 1080p content suffer from skipping. Most of my content is in MKV (Matroska) format.

I recently just updated to the most recent XBMC, 10.1 I believe. I am VERY happy to report that most of the playback issues have been fixed, however, the menus are completely unusable. It seriously takes 3-6sec for any movement, either via keyboard or mouse, to register. You hit the arrow key...wait...then it moves.

I am using the same "skin" as I was before, PM3.HD. Is there something I can do to speed up the menu performance?

Debug log is usually a good idea.

Not sure what I am looking for here, but I see a lot of these:
Code:
09:17:31 T:2691691840 M:302936064   ERROR: SQL: SQL error or missing database
                                            Query: DELETE FROM streamdetails
09:17:31 T:2691691840 M:302936064   ERROR: Error attempting to update the database version!
09:17:31 T:2691691840 M:302936064   ERROR: Can't update the database MyVideos34.db from

And this further down:
Code:
09:18:18 T:2691691840 M:279175168   ERROR: SQL: SQL error or missing database
                                            Query: DELETE FROM streamdetails
09:18:18 T:2691691840 M:279175168   ERROR: Error attempting to update the database version!
09:18:18 T:2691691840 M:279175168   ERROR: Can't update the database MyVideos34.db from version 25 to 42

This was right in the start:
Code:
09:17:17 T:2691691840 M:347979776   ERROR: Unable to load libcrystalhd.dylib, reason: dlopen(libcrystalhd.dylib, 1): image not found

Also, when I got to the System menu, it sped up to normal. Once I exited the System menu, back to sloooooow mooooode.

I don't see any way to attach the logs, and I doubt anyone wants me pasting them here.

On a hunch, I found the MyVideos.db file and renamed it .old. XBMC menus perform perfectly now.
