This doesn't work for me. Going to try the skin thing.

I was wrong it does work if you use the right userid. mine is not xbmc

su <insert userid here> -c "startx /etc/X11/Xsession /usr/bin/xbmc"

replace <insert userid here> with your userid and voila!
