{WIP} Live TV / PVR Support in Neon

I'll take a look at it later today.

I think the issue is down to Neon not having a ViewsPVR.xml file.

If I copy the confluence one across I can get it to sort of work. All the channels are listed but the layout is completely wrong (as expected due to using the other skin's xml file)

Do you have a ViewsPVR.xml that has been tweaked for Neon? Has it just not been included in the latest builds?

I just pushed an update to git that may or may not address this issue. This assumes you are using a pre-11 version of the pvr builds and not a dharma build.

Also - if this does not work for the pvr builds it will have to wait until 1) I can find a real cheap tv-card or 2) someone else steps up to find and help fix the problems. At this point I can't even get the pvr add-ons to work can honestly cannot be bothered to compile my own.

Thanks for that! It's now 90% working.

There's just a bit of a layout problem with the area that displays the tv picture when in the channels list. At the moment the area with the picture is aligned left, behind the channels list, whereas it should be aligned right.

Can you point me in the direction of the right file to tweak and I'll sort it out myself.

ha! How about an xml file that starts with PVR Honestly, since I can't even view it, I really don't know. I suppose with a screen shot I may be able to figure it out and tweak it some...

I managed to score a Hauppauge 1600 today so this should all get worked out pretty well over the next few days.

Pushed out another update today. Still has some fine tuning to go, but it's a damn sight better than it was.

I've had a look at the latest PVR update and it is much improved on the previous version.

The is still one problem that I can spot though. Currently there is no left-hand-side menu available. In other skins when you go into the PVR section you have a menu off screen to the left which contains access to things like channel list, epg, recordings, search etc..

Is this just accessed a different way in Neon or is it missing?

I've attached a zip of the xml files from my current working system. These files are mostly from previous Neon builds and a bit of Confluence along with some tweaks of my own. These files give access to the leftside menu along with all other PVR features.
