My son has almost 4 and he always know how to navigate to watch his movies. I don't really know how he do this because every few days I change skin to another as I want something new. This is the New Generation, I think Smile

AsRock 330 HT, 2GB RAM, 320GB HDD, XBMC Live Dharma 10.1, Fusion BugFix Mod, Xperience, reFocus

lol I agree my 5 year old knew how to get into her movies in confluence (under her profile) and now I changed to neon and she still knows how. she also likes the new favourites in the neon skin so that she can go to some online sites to get cartoons etc..

ATV1 with crystalbuntu V1 (11.eden). Theater remote URC MX-810, droidx wtih xbmc remote, or transformer tf101 with YATSE. 2 x ATV2 (V12.0 Eden).

Ellipsis or Alaska revisted for my son. Quick and easy to get in.

Sorry but confluence etc is totally for adult male geeks, too much flipping out and going on and popping up.

As nice as all these solutions are, I still believe there would be a huge audience for a striped down, purpose built skin for children.
Wouldnt need all the features and views or even all the catagories that most skins have.
Maybe 'movies', 'tvshows', 'add-ons', and possibly 'music', all accessable from a simple home page with large icons.
One view for each, and maybe cartoon flavered backdrops.

And first and foremost, easy navigation.

(BTW, thanks to all who have donated their time and given us the awesome skins we do have)
