My shitty quality vid's work fine, but the decent quality ones that my library actually recognized while in library mode dont work. It did work earlier and then I had problems with XbmC and had to restore my atv2

try to be more specific.

1) "shitty quality vid's" (plurals should be spelled WITHOUT an apostrophe; that is, "vids" and not "vid's") = stereo or surround sound?
2) do you get no sound at all? is it stuttering? do you just not get surround sound?
3) did you try making sure that you output sound via HDMI or optical, not analog? you can do this either through settings or when the file is playing by pressing and holding the middle button, then going to audio and selecting your output device.
