Hey, I'm running XBMC on a Ubuntu 10.10 with kernel 2.6.35-28 without Pulseaudio, powered by an 2.6GHz Dual Core Processor (Athlon 64 X2 5000) over an ALC889A Sound chipset and Radeon HD3200 with 256mb shared.
So, on the only notebook I have here that's running Windows 7 Home Premium, I can right-click a Music/Video/Image and select "Play on.." and select the XBMC Media Center, and it'll play the media over-the-air, so does controlling which music is playing, which image is showing up, etc etc.
SO, I couldn't find the same option on the other machines (Ubuntu Maverick). It looks pretty cool to control the music playing from virtually anywhere (my cheapo media center wireless keyboard doesn't work too far, 5 meters is the limit) or to scare the hell out of people on the living room.
What do you guys suggest? I wish a easy click-and-play feature like on Windows, but a more extensive one will do the trick.
