thanx for trying...not sure if it was a valid test since it's 'A mode I can't use on this machine anyway' ?

will see if i can hunt down a windows machine somewhere myself.

I'm at work right now ronie, but as soon as I get home in a couple of hours, I'll try it and let you know.

thanx for testing stoli, really appreciated.

that's dharma 10.0, correct?

i've just tested it myself on a fresh win 7 32-bit install
dharma 10.1 and Transparency v3.11.5.

no issue in fullscreen, true fullscreen and windowed mode.

i would appreciate a debug log from everyone who has this problem!

Yep - didn't even realize I haven't upgraded this machine yet. Will update and test again.

EDIT: Happens in 10.1 as well

Happens in all three modes for me as well.

Today I noticed a similar behavior to khigh's Scattered T-storms icon with my Partly Cloudy icon... the clouds would scroll a bit, then the whole icon blanks out, then it comes back.

could any of you test if replacing Textures.xbt in the media folder
with this one: Textures.xbt fixes it?

I tested it - the new one showing 80,037 KB, and the old one at 68,984 with no visible difference except XBMC took an extra few seconds to load the first time.

I wasn't sure what a debug log was, but I see others are pasting their xbmc.log. Here's mine.

When I said I couldn't run true full screen earlier, I meant day to day - I did test it.

too bad...i was hoping there may have been an issue with that file.

for a debug log , you first need to enable it:
Settings > System > Debugging > Enable debug logging

thanx for testing the textures file.

i'm out of options, hope i can get a dev to look at this.
