Will XBMC on ATV2 connect to NAS without proper server (computer) running?

The DNS-320 just showed up in retail in the US; apparently the DNS-325 is a month or more away.

Very few reviews of the performance so far and those are from overseas markets. It will be interesting to see how these perform against other products using the same CPU (Marvell Kirkwood) and memory such as Synology.

Unless Dlink screw the firmware in the most epic of ways the thing should perform pretty decently... and even if they do epically screw it theres always the community ready to step in and pickup the mess... one of the many reasons Linux and it's openness rocks!
