activate Wrote:Hey t0mmo, so far so good but, when i see the list, are there other streams that that plugin is not listing? It seems so by your last comment. Didn't realise that. Only started using veetle recently.

yes, currently only flash streams from veetle are supported. these are only available for about 25% of the channels and this plugin will only display those that have flash streams at the moment you do the channel listing.

the 'hd' streams are streamed using a proprietary protocol to a modified version of the vlc plugin. we are looking into the possibility of supporting these but have no fully working method at the moment.

blu200 Wrote:Ok thanks very much. I'm pretty much only interested in live sports streams so that should be ok. Although I did try to watch the poker and it dropped out. Perhaps that is not a live stream?

i think that all flash streams are still down at the moment - they certainly are for me even from their website. requests for the stream address are returning {"success":false,"payload":"backend failure"} for every channel i've tried. i think you'll just have to wait for them to fix it Wink

docmichael Wrote:I too have problems with plugin since updated so i just uninstalled 1.2 and reinstalled 1.1 and everything works fine.

can someone who is having problems with the plugin crashing (not the streams not working as they appear to be down) please send a debug log as it works fine on all my machines and i won't be able to fix it without a log from someone!

thanks,

thanks!

i was being silly and the class definition was not correct for older versions of python (thanks gratz!)

0.1.3 just hit the repository and should fix the problem.

looks like the flash streams are still down a lot at the moment.

thanks,

t0mm0

There is a link in the MAC specific forum that explains how to add the 'svn' mirrors to the launcher.

Did it on another computer at home last night so I can't give you the exact post right now. Will check and if I find it.... I will post it for you.

adufresne Wrote:I'm not sure why using the `defaults` command didn't work for me, but here's how I added it manually to the /System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app/Contents/PlugIns/XBMCLauncher.frappliance/Contents/Info.plist file:
Code:
sudo -s
cd /System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app/Contents/PlugIns/XBMCLauncher.frappliance/Contents/
cp Info.plist Info.plist.orig
awk -F'[/.]' '{ print $0; if ($9 == "update_urls") { print "                                <string>http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/osx/update_urls.plist</string>"; } }' Info.plist.orig > Info.plist
I rebooted and my SVN releases showed up. If anyone knows the correct way to fix this, please let me know! In the meantime, I'm rocking some Crystal HD success Wink

Here are the instructions I followed.

@ t0mm0 ,
I have XBMC on Apple TV 1, I downloaded your zip file and installed via the addons in settings within XBMC. I assume something happened, but am unable to see the addon anywhere! Should I see it under TV/movie addons? I can see my icefilms addon but no Veetle? I would appreciate a little guidance, thanks.
