Updating from git causes black screen

_ak1_ Wrote:I also had this issue with two machines. My easy way to get a away from the black screen was to press the 's' button. That gave me the bottom menue which enabled me to get to the settings dialogue. There I made sure that the new Neon update was loaded. After that everything was fine again.

Exit xbmc
Ssh to the atv
cd /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/userdata
rm guisettings.xml

That should do it.

Hey stoli, it seems the latest update (6e0b0dd) brings back the black screen problem again. Sad

Ok with the latest update I get nothing when I pause a movie, it's just blank. It properly pauses the movie but no overlays whatsoever.
