Sorry i just have no time nowadays. I think you can patch older releases easy, with manually looking for the corresponding lines and change - insert the things we have in the new patch. Just use a text editor, with no problem. Sorry but i don't have time for this now.

Where did you get the xbmc PVR developing branch from? and have you noticed any glitching when watching certain 1080p movies?
... btw would it be possible to make a new custom live cd for fusion boards with what you have setup?

Unfortunatly i'm having now problems with vaapi and xbmc.
XBMC crashes everytime when i start playing a video with vaapi enabled.
vainfo says all is working fine...
What i can remember of the CPU Usage:
Playing 1080p (h.264) videos = ~ 15 - 22 %
Playing TV with the PVR implementation of XBMC will be much higher cause vaapi with xvba (ati) can only accelerate h.264 codecs and due to that normal TV playback (SD Resolution) will only be accelerated over the CPU.
But this isn't a problem cause the CPU is fast enough for it.
HD TV should also be encoded with h.264 (don't know if there is used another codec) and this also shouldn't be a problem.
Using XBMC PVR build on Ubuntu Natty Narwhal
- Case: Silverstone GD06
- Mainboard: Asus E35M1-M - AMD Fusion
