Play or view playlist?

That was it, thx Mark! It's the opposite of how I would expect it to be; playlist would play and favorites would list. Either way, so long as I can get it working!! Looks awesome!!

You are correct - the playlist should play and I believe that is how I have it now in the SVN/Git builds. Are you using the original version from the xbmc repository?

Yes, this is a new build I'm trying to get setup without any bugs so I can create an image backup to resort back to if need be.

Great job on this project! I'm sure I'll have more questions as I have time to tinker!

For me, setting it as a favorite or a playlist doesn't matter. They always start playing right away. I'm using the latest SVN version.
Stoli, will you be able to add the option to show the playlist or play it. I'd rather not start modifying the .xml file if you're going to add the option anyway.

I'll update the actions and the terminology used. If it's a playlist added to the playlist section it will "star playlist", otherwise it will present the list.

OK, I uninstalled my version of Neon and installed your latest Git. I went through and set it up with my favorites (movies, kids movies, home movies, demos) and added the HM and Demos to Custom Menu Favorites and Movies and Kids Movies to Playlist, like I had them before. When I click on Movies of Kids Movies, it immediately began playing them instead of showing the list. So I went back to settings and set them up as Favorites instead of Playlist (demo and Home Movies did fine). But still when I go to Movies or Kids Movies, they begin playing immediately instead of showing me the list.

I'll ad a check box to the custom playlist option to allow you to choose if it should auto start or just present the list. Look for this later today...

I have a semi-off topic question... Can I add more Custom Items to my menu? I was thinking I would break out my TV Shows between adult and kid as well.

If not, no big deal. I'm sure I can use the default Movie and TV Shows and somehow remove the kid items from view.
