The remote is supposed to support multiple instances and I have set the remote up for two computers in my home network. The problem is that the basic remote is unusable unless the RemoteEvent port is forwarded to the computer I want to control. Since I have been unable to find I way to change this I have to go into the router and change the port forward everytime I switch computer. Surely, this cannot be considered "support multiple XBMC instances". So my basic question is this, how do I change the RemoteEvent port in XBMC from 9777 to something else?

It's not clear why you need to port forward in a local network? Both computers are supposed to have their own IP, therefore you set up two hosts in the Android Remote and switch to the one you want to control.
