i Just after getting help on looking for the Keyboard commands i got a new problem ;-;..
everytime XBMC plays an x.264 encoded Video.. it causes the Driver to fail (the first time in XP i see it fail and Not cause a BSOD!)
the system's an old Dell Inspiron 1300 w/ that Intel Graphics POS.
would XBMC run ok w/ an Live enviroment on my Compaq Presario R3000? (it has an ATI Mobility Radeon 7100)

I wouldn't suggest to use the Live because you are using ATI-Graphics.
How exactly do you see that the driver is failing? Which driver?
A driver failure in windows (especially the video-driver) should cause a BSOD and the system to reboot.

it gives me a message similar to what you do in Vista or 7 that teh device Driver has stopped responding (atm the exact driver file name escapes me as i have it off for now) but when it does that it resorts to 640x480 only res, 4bit colors and says to restore functionality to reboot.
and i would only be able to use the live Image for the compaq as it has no Hard drive.

Did you by any chance enable hardware accelaration? What about DXVA? What happens when you play the video-files in anothr player (VLC for example)? Does that work?
