My xmbc has gone funny -
It's not saying -
Unable to connect to remote server
would you like to continue scanning?
I choose yes - and it appears right away again.
No just stops scanning --
I'm online on my windows 7 laptop -
No proxy -
Was working now just stopped!
Any suggestions?

I keep getting the error. Unable to connect to server.
Over and over and over and over. Is it just down or did something mess up? I haven't changed anything.

its to do with themoviedb being down...
their site is hosted on the Amazon EC2 stuff which is and has been down for the past day or so...

MovieDB has been having problems, only works for scraping in fits and starts. There are about 5 threads going about it.
If your XBMC can't access the online DB it can't scrape your new movies.

they are working as fast and as hard as they can apparently....
its been down since early yesterday so don't hold your breath...
I know, i'm in the same situation, i rebuilt my xbmc yesterday and tried to add my movies DOH!
