NO FULLSCREEN GUI FIT (OPENELEC.tv HDD INSTALL)
#1
Sad
I just got my ATV 1 40GB and immediately installed a Broadcom Crystal HD card.
I think i set the apple os to 1080p.

Next thing i did was installing Openelec with an USB patchstick onto the internal disk (erased ATV OS).
I managed to finish the installation properly and booted my ATV into XBMC.

The problem now is the resolution or overscan problem as shown in the attachments below.
It sounds like the same problem as this tread: [APPLE TV] 1080p Full Screen (FullHD FullScreen)?
The solution there appeared to be a launcher update...
Since i erased with the HDD instal, i don't have a launcher anymore.

I tried to calibrate but i cannot calibrate enough to get the gui fit the screen..
I tried some changes in the guisettings.xml but no luck there. (i do not fully understand though )
I tried different builds..

Can anyone give me a hand? Please..

Here i posted the same problem but with photo:

Go to your TV's picture menu screen and turn on 'Just Scan', 'Scan', whatever on the HDMI in use by AppleTV.

Basically you want '1:1 pixel mapping' to occur.

Thanks for your reply!!

I just tried the pin87a USB image and booted into xbmc with a perfect fit.
I think it must be the openelec image then?

At the moment I'm trying the sam's new image...

Thanks again!
