- Death-Axe - 2011-03-24 for zsnes, this is the batch: pssuspend XBMC.exe zsnesw.exe "%1" -s -v 19 pssuspend -r XBMC.exe nircmd win max process XBMC.exe in the arguments in the launcher I have it set to "%rom%". zsnes opens, but no rom is loaded just the menu. I assume zsnes doesn't support the %rom% bit, but I dunno what to use instead. someone should make a guide or something hehe.... - rob87 - 2011-03-24 Hey guys, the launcher works fine but i could not find some nice fanarts for my games. In Romcollectionbrowser i can scrape my games with thegamesdb.net. There are nice Fanarts, Banners, lots of infos and more... It is possible to include this site also in this launcher - Angelscry - 2011-03-24 mentaluproar Wrote:I'm running XBMC on mac and the only game I can get this thing to recognize is megaman X 4. I cant get it to recognize anything else, and accessing the rest of the menus is impossible. What am I doing wrong? If you could explain me exactly what you are doing I will be able to tell you if it is right or wrong. Do you obtain script error message? If so, please post here the content of your launchers.xml and xbmc.log files here using pastebin service. I also need to mention you that I do not have a mac so it is possible that advanced launcher do not work completely on this system. - Angelscry - 2011-03-24 TxRxFx Wrote:Running 0.134 sdl mame on a machine (xbmc 10.1 of launching using advanced launcher of course) with ubuntu 10.04. Only thing I'd say it's looking like is the threading is a little funky on my machine. Piping audio via nvidia hdmi graphic card and compiled alsa drivers. Why do you use this old version of mame? Actual version is 0.141. The version 0.134 have been released in sept. 2009. Some bug fixing could have occurred since that date. - Angelscry - 2011-03-24 Death-Axe Wrote:for zsnes, this is the batch:You need to remove quotes from the advanced launcher arguments or from the batch command line. It seems that you use quotes into the both case. That could be the error. - Angelscry - 2011-03-24 rob87 Wrote:Hey guys,Have you try to use the google image scraper using largest image size option? I think you never have better results than that. Concerning only game info, the allgame website is from far the most complete one. I will not add thegamesdb.net as scraper, because this database do not have sufficient content. - wex101 - 2011-03-24 Hi everybody I'm having an issue with the advanced launcher I would like to try to work out. I have visual boy advanced set up and whenever I try to launch a zelda.gba game I get the following error... Ussupported file type gba|gb|gbc|zip I have the emulator launcher setup with the correct file extensions (it auto knew which ones to use) but for some reason I recieve this error everytime I try to launch a game from xbmc. When launching the games from visual boy itself they do fine. Is this error familiar at all to anyone? - Robert de Clair - 2011-03-24 @up http://www.gwenael.org/xbmc/index.php?title=Visual_Boy_Advance#Windows Is this only with zelda? or any gba rom doesnt want to run? I have all roms zipped and everything works fine depend this config - User 89618 - 2011-03-24 That's proabably because i've removed that PPA from the software list, will try this out once I get home. - Angelscry - 2011-03-24 wex101 Wrote:Hi everybody I'm having an issue with the advanced launcher I would like to try to work out.Oupsss... There is a mistake into the autosuggesting arguments for visualboyadvance. Advanced Launcher return gba|gb|gbc|zip as argument instead of "%rom%" as indicated into the wiki page posted by Robert de Clair. I will fix this for the next version. To fix this on you side you just have to your launcher using visualboyadvance and replace the argument gba|gb|gbc|zip by "%rom%". - Death-Axe - 2011-03-24 Angelscry Wrote:You need to remove quotes from the advanced launcher arguments or from the batch command line. That worked, thanks again! - Angelscry - 2011-03-24 Death-Axe Wrote:That worked, thanks again!Great...Please next time post your configuration question on the Advanced Launcher dedicated help & support forum. - wex101 - 2011-03-24 Angelscry Wrote:Oupsss... Hmmm I made the fix and now this time get a different error but similiar error. Unsupported File type and then it goes on to name the location of file. Odd that it will launch through visual boy manually but not through the launcher. Any ideas? And thanks for the help! - Angelscry - 2011-03-24 wex101 Wrote:Hmmm I made the fix and now this time get a different error but similiar error. If you could explain me exactly what you are doing I will be able to tell you what is going wrong. Version 1.2.12 - Angelscry - 2011-03-26 The main feature bring by this new version of Advanced Launcher is the add of unique ID numbers to launchers and items. Now, Advanced Launcher use these unique static ID number (instead of dynamic ID number) to make difference between each launchers and items. This mean that you can create several launchers or items having exactly the same title and/or the same application or rom file. Using static ID number instead of dynamic will fix ramdom direct access bug to launchers or items from XBMC custom menus. These ID are also now directly saved into the launchers.xml file like below : Code: <launcher> Change Log
