RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - RockDawg - 2014-08-10 (2014-07-18, 21:52)Elixxen Wrote: I just did a fresh install of XBMC. Followed all steps in the first three posts but PsedueTV won't start no matter what I do. I've already downloaded all dependencies etc. I've done this like 10 times before and never had problems which is why this is driving me crazy. Just half an hour ago I was playing with PseudoTV and now I can't even get it started. All I'm getting is "script failed! : pseduetv.py" or something like that. I just tried to do a fresh install of XBMC and PTVL on one of my machines and I am having the exact same issue. I keep getting "script failed" every time I run PTVL. I have triple checked that I have all dependencies installed. Here is my log: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=264736 The part mine has in common with Elixxen's is: Code: 19:38:09 T:9692 ERROR: EXCEPTION Thrown (PythonToCppException) : -->Python callback/script returned the following error<-- Any ideas? RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - ryanmcclure - 2014-08-10 The problem looks to be CommonFunctions...You said you've installed the dependency? Try unisntalling it and installing it manually (extracting the files from the ZIP and placing them in the proper folder). That could be the answer. If you mean for shared libraries, then I agree. I'll be setting up a pi this week so it will be high on my priorities. I downloaded all dependencies from the links in the first post, unzipped them and manually copied them to the addons folder then started XBMC. Facepalm time--I thought that was a dependency, but it turns out I was thinking of script.module.common--my apologies!!! It appears that the only think I can find about CommonFunctions is that it is (apparently) from ParseDOM...more here. http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Add-on:Parsedom_for_xbmc_plugins Luna, any thoughts? RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - RockDawg - 2014-08-10 (2014-08-10, 04:29)ryanmcclure Wrote:(2014-08-10, 03:53)RockDawg Wrote:(2014-08-10, 03:36)ryanmcclure Wrote: The problem looks to be CommonFunctions...You said you've installed the dependency? Quote:It appears that the only think I can find about CommonFunctions is that it is (apparently) from ParseDOM...more here. I searched Google and that's the same info I found and it doesn't mean much to me. Being that Elixxen and myself both encountered this problem after a fresh install of XBMC, it kind of makes me think that it's a problem with an updated version of one of the dependencies. But I don't really know. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - ryanmcclure - 2014-08-10 Does anyone use the "disable watched flagging" feature? I'm not having much luck with it working. I have disabled it and it is disabled in my settings.xml as well. --- Also, does anyone use channel type 7, directory channels? I can't seem to get it to work. I'm using a directory with one 2-hour video...could that be the issue? Here's my settings2.xml: Code: <settings> And here's my log: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=264841 Thanks! I use Directory for Music Videos because I cannot get it to work from Library: Code: <setting id="Channel_7_type" value="7" /> There is a rule to change the channel name and another to interleave another channel. Works fine but obviously without any metadata. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - kristina27 - 2014-08-10 When I donated I received the donor incentives, One was the logos that have rectangular design with a Apple app type theme. Does anyone know how to make this of have a template that i can follow to create some for my custom channels that are not included in the donor logos? Disable watch should work... but may require tweaking on my end. A PTVL dependency is missing it's required dependency... make sure you are correctly installing the modules through xbmc and not by unzipping. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - bry - 2014-08-10 for those of you that have a HDhomerun Prime tuner by SiliconDust I have just figured out a way to use a single URL for the unpn streams. This way you do not have specify a tuner per device going forward. You can edit the path listed in your current strm files to the following format. http://IP.ADDRESS.OF.HDHOMERUN:5004/auto/vChannel# http://192.168.10.100:5004/auto/v50 - will play channel 50 you can test this by going to the address within your web browser, saving it in a strm file that you can create with notepad++. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - phsyraxion - 2014-08-11 I'm seeing some strange behavior with the Spooling service for dynamic artwork (Understand it's being worked on but thought i'd report it). As some others have stated the artwork appears to be downloaded rather than grabbed locally. I cleared the cache and allowed the spooling service to run and most of my artwork is in German where I haven't a German piece of artwork on any content. All media is stored with both pre\post Frodo named artwork locally for all media. I'm using the latest git version of PTVL (from 3 days ago) on Aeon Nox 4 (latest git) on Windows machines using Gotham and the Spooling service appears to be causing lockups when it completes. No logs as yet as this takes a long time to occur and I only just discovered the cause. On 3 different machines I was having an issue where when watching a video (in or out of PTVL) the video would lock up on screen but audio would continue. A force restart was needed. This seemed to occur at least 1 to 2 times a day and it was only when I noticed the "Spooling Started" message appear then a few minutes later the "Spooling Completed" message appeared then the video would freeze. I increased the spooling time out to 72 hours and haven't had a lockup since. Initially I was thinking it was an issue within PTVL locking up but then it started to happen when just watching something outside of PTVL. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - ryanmcclure - 2014-08-12 I'm having a weird problem. I changed the logo for one of my channels. It did not change in the EPG/on the actual channel. I changed the channel name and the logo name, and it worked properly. But, I changed the name back to its original name for the channel and logo and the original problem persisted. Then, I went into .xbmc/userdata/Thumbnails/.... and found the old thumbnail for that channel. I deleted that image file. When Irestarted PTVL, the channel no longer has a channel logo at all. i can't seem to get it to want to recreate a logo. What should I do? Development branch was updated and includes My musicTV... Pending testing I'll make some tweaks and add artwork. |
