You are using the last version 0.9.1 of the advanced launcher? Ok, I guess I only updated one PC to 0.9.1. Still have an error with Nestopia. Now after the update the error I get is " can't start direct 3d is busy." SNES emulation works perfect on this computer now!! Thanks for the help !! - Angelscry - 2011-01-01 BORIStheBLADE Wrote:Ok, I guess I only updated one PC to 0.9.1.To avoid this error, you need to activate the "Use a fullscreen window rather than true fullscreen" option into the Settings / System menu of XBMC. - BORIStheBLADE - 2011-01-01 Angelscry Wrote:To avoid this error, you need to activate the "Use a fullscreen window rather than true fullscreen" option into the Settings / System menu of XBMC. OK, sounds like its nothing major. I wanted to test on this laptop before I installed windows on my HTPC. Thanks for your help! One thing I thought about while doing all this testing. If a person had all their own thumb nails it would be nice if the plugin would see them and use them instead. I know that you can manually edit thumbs individually, but it would take a while if you had a lot of games. Maybe the scanner only download whats not in the folder? - Angelscry - 2011-01-01 BORIStheBLADE Wrote:If a person had all their own thumb nails it would be nice if the plugin would see them and use them instead. It is actually how the Advanced Launcher works. If the thumbnails or the fanarts files already exists (with the right name and into the rights directories) and that you have desactivated the thumbs and fanarts autoscrap options, during the scan, the Advanced Launcher will take the images present locally. If you activate the thumbs and fanarts autoscrap options those images will be replaced by those ones found on internet. - BORIStheBLADE - 2011-01-01 Angelscry Wrote:It is actually how the Advanced Launcher works. Have a good New Year! - Jorge18 - 2011-01-01 This addon is awesome! Thanks so much for making it. I'm having issues making this work though. I set everything up and when I click on a rom to start, it opens the emulator, but doesn't start the rom, it just sits there. Can someone help me out here? - Angelscry - 2011-01-01 Jorge18 Wrote:This addon is awesome! Thanks so much for making it.It surely be an emulator configuration problem. But, I will need more information to help you. Which emulator are you trying to use? Which game? Are you under Windows or Linux ? - Jorge18 - 2011-01-01 Angelscry Wrote:It surely be an emulator configuration problem. But, I will need more information to help you. Are there specific emulators that work best? - rbrohman - 2011-01-01 Jorge18 Wrote:I'm having issues making this work though. I've got one problem, though: I'm using ePSXe, and everytime I press "Esc" to close the emulator I get sent to the desktop, instead of XBMC maximizing. Any ideas on what might be wrong? - Angelscry - 2011-01-01 Ceth Wrote:Great job on this plugin, Angelscry! If not, try to activate the "Use a fullscreen window rather than true fullscreen" option into the Settings / System menu of XBMC. - Ceth - 2011-01-01 Angelscry Wrote:If not, try to activate the "Use a fullscreen window rather than true fullscreen" option into the Settings / System menu of XBMC. Worked perfectly! Thank you very much! - Jorge18 - 2011-01-01 rbrohman Wrote:In the launcher arguments (go into the context menu when the launcher is highlighted), make sure you have at least "%rom%" included.
