RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - Angelscry - 2013-05-19 (2013-05-19, 15:45)kiguel182 Wrote: Ok, thanks for all the help. I found out the problem. No, basically, you have two scan modes (automatic and semi-automatic) for each item metadata (infos, thumbs, fanarts). If you want a full automatic scan, choose "Scrapers" value for "Collecting Method" option and "Automatic" for "Import mode" option. Setup all like this for "Data & info", "Thumbs" and "Fanarts" parts. (2013-05-19, 14:54)Mark Norville Wrote: Try it without the games in the sub folders, I tried to do that but when you have thousands of roms then it is not practical, all what you need to do is rename your rom folder, call it rom2 for now. Make a new rom directory and just cut and paste about 1 to 5 roms into that directory and try launching.Script.py errors would be fixed if users who encounter them would report them here. Also manually deleting/moving items that are referenced into Advanced Launcher is a go way to generate errors. RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - Mark Norville - 2013-05-19 No need above Kiguel, goto add ons, program add ons and then advanced launcher and configure RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - leftywhat - 2013-05-19 Is it just me or once I've added a new system, say NES... add items, everything scanned from HDD (being thumbs, nfo, and fanart)... after adding items, everything looks there except the fanart doesn't seem to show for all the games straight away. You have to exit XBMC, then when you go back into it, everything is showing fine. Seems strange, whats the go? All my stuff is on my HDD being fanart/thumbs/roms&nfos.. never had this issue with xmbc 11 and the old adv launcher. All I've done is upgrade XBMC from 11 to 12 (not a fresh install, just clicked on the 12.2 and installed over the top). Also, sometimes I've noticed Adv Launcher can crash when setting up the emulated systems, and then all the items under the category are gone and you've got to start everything again :S RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - Mark Norville - 2013-05-19 @ Angelscry hopefully I have done this properly http://pastebin.com/LCStmhxt Regards Mark RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - Angelscry - 2013-05-19 (2013-05-19, 16:24)leftywhat Wrote: Is it just me or once I've added a new system, say NES... add items, everything scanned from HDD (being thumbs, nfo, and fanart)... after adding items, everything looks there except the fanart doesn't seem to show for all the games straight away.Unfortunately, I cannot do anything. That's XBMC which manage images cache and you effectively need to close/restart XBMC to see change applied. It also happen sometime with movies and series. I can take a look, but I'm not sure that I will be able to change anything. I can try to fix this by displaying error popup message instead of let display a raw script error (it will be more elegant)... but that will not make Advanced Launcher to found stuff that is not anymore where you have indicated it was. RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - Mark Norville - 2013-05-19 I have not moved anything though Angelscry that is the whole point though. It has always been in the C:\Emulation\Consoles\Nintendo\SNES etc etc folder. Even when the program crashes and then I lose everything and then started again, it still happens. RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - Angelscry - 2013-05-19 For information : Script error occuring when a file (application or item) is not found will be fixed by version 2.0.8 of Advanced Launcher. RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - Mark Norville - 2013-05-19 What I have done is simply removed all the advanced launcher and reinstalled it. Hopefully this will work and I will install the rest of the stuff and see what happens. Hopefully there will be no more script errors but I will keep you posted. Thank you for your help anyway. Regards Mark RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - kiguel182 - 2013-05-19 hello, I'm back with another issue. I have everything working smooth with ZNES but I want to put it fullscreen. To do that I wanted to access the options menu but when I click the app it doesn't open. When I launch a game from Advance Launcher it opens and runs the game just fine but when I try to launch the app manually doesn't work. Any idea why this happens? thanks in advance. RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - Mark Norville - 2013-05-20 are you getting any error messages from znes? Just delete the znes.cfg file and try reloading it again. It will create you a new cfg file RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - kiguel182 - 2013-05-20 (2013-05-20, 00:02)Angelscry Wrote:(2013-05-19, 23:53)kiguel182 Wrote: hello, I'm back with another issue.what do you mean by"manually"?? going to the application folder and clicking the app. Not launching it using XBMC RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - Mark Norville - 2013-05-20 Just delete the znes.cfg in your znes folder and it will create a new one for you, then you can change the settings. RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - n1md4 - 2013-05-20 Hi, Angelscry. I have a sound problem with Advanced Launcher. It doesn't play on any emulator. Can you assist in any way? Thanks. |
