I have updated my firetv stick 4K max to 7.6.2.4 and after this update I can see truehd pass through button in android iec however not in kodi iec.
When I enable pass through and test truehd channel check video there is no sound. Same behaviour in nova and jellyfin.
Not sure what’s going on any one observed change with 7.6.2.4?

Yes, thanks. I think it's technically known as a 3rd generation despite it being the 2nd 4K stick released...but the latest one yeah.
From what I'm reading I think even the latest FireTV 4K Ultra (i.e. not the Max) can do TrueHD pass through which is pretty impressive given the price.
I'm hearing that Google might be announcing a new ChromeCast 4K next week, will be interesting to compare.
