Anybody figured out a way to get into android/data on firestick 4k max

Tool has method to move '/Android/data//.kodi/' to '/storage/emulated/0/'.

If you just need to Copy/Paste a single file like advancedsettings.xml

Use KODI internal file manager:

1. open KODI file manager
2. add source
3. click the line that says "<none>"
4. manually enter "special://home"
  - for all paths available see here https://kodi.wiki/view/Special_protocol

You can manually place your advancedsettings.xml in /Downloads folder and then inside KODI copy the XML into special://home/userdata which is the same as /.kodi/userdata , as long as KODI has been granted Storage access permission beforehand you can access the default folders like Downloads while inside KODI. Of course, KODI will need a restart(Force-Close) after copying the file over.

So there is no way to transfer zips from android/download to special/home if there is a way where would I put the zips at for them to show up in the Kodi file manager this would be perfect

Open one side to special://home using add source, then use add source to open external storage > download

When I do that I get to the external storage but don’t none of my zip files show up…I have hidden files on ??

Or is there a way to just add Dropbox to the file manager and it will solve everything
