One little change I made was to add the following to DialogButtonMenu.xml, perhaps it could be included in future releases. <!--cancel shutdown timer--> <control type="button" id="509"> <width>350</width> <label>Cancel Shutdown Timer</label> <onclick>Dialog.Close(shutdownmenu)</onclick> <onclick>XBMC.CancelAlarm(shutdowntimer)</onclick> <include>dialog_Button-list</include> <visible>System.HasAlarm(shutdowntimer)</visible> </control> Also not sure if I'm just being blind but I can't see a link to the filemanager anywhere? Thanks - Sranshaft - 2012-02-18 coleborn Wrote:Really liking this skin. Big thanks to the developer. It's under the System menu on the home screen. I have some loose ends to finish, after that there will be a new release. Greetings, Jeroen - Craymel - 2012-02-19 That is a good new! Thanks Jeroen, this skin is great. - rd1979 - 2012-02-19 Jeroen Wrote:Hi all, sorry for being missing in action lately. I've been busy, and I haven't really had too much time for skinning. We all have lives to deal with. - canadave - 2012-02-19 Jeroen Wrote:Hi all, sorry for being missing in action lately. I've been busy, and I haven't really had too much time for skinning. Wouldn't want our favourite skin designer to get burned out! - Craymel - 2012-02-24 Hi, first at all, thanks Jeroen for this great skin. i have done a little update to the spanish translation: http://www.sendspace.com/file/yg01ux Hope it will help. - Spaggi - 2012-02-25 Hey guys - this might already have been answered in this thread, but I couldn't find anything regarding this and it's quite long with 232 pages. Anyway, I must say that this skin is just brilliant for the atv2 since it seems to be the only skin which runs kinda smooth - and still looks great. The only view where I have performance issues is the movies view - which is populated by roundabout 500 items. Does anyone know a trick to speed things up a little bit here? E.g. Reduce poster sizes or anything? Cheers in advance! - butchabay - 2012-02-25 ... And it will become slower increasing your your movie library. So now my question dear atv2 users, why not buy a decent htpc? I'm reading about 90% of the atv2 users having problems... I really can't understand you guys! - Martijn - 2012-02-25 butchabay Wrote:... And it will become slower increasing your your movie library. They want a f** awesome HTPC for just a couple of bucks. I rather spend 300/400 dollars on a system that blows every ones mind. Just for less than 200 or so you already have a more than capable system. - Jeroen - 2012-02-25 Craymel Wrote:Hi, first at all, thanks Jeroen for this great skin. Many thanks - Jeroen - 2012-02-25 Took some time to look into support for Frostbox's Metadata Actors add-on: - canadave - 2012-02-25 butchabay Wrote:... Hey, come now, easy there guys Some of us have ATV2's because (a) we didn't want to spend the extra $100-$200 or so (yes, some of us don't have that kind of money to throw around, or have other things--or people!--we'd like to throw that money around on), or (b) we use the ATV2 to easily link with our iCloud/iTunes stuff in an all-Mac/iOS environment (I can easily Airplay my videos/songs from my iPad through my ATV2), or © because we like having something with almost no electrical power usage--I think it's 3.5 watts?, or (d) because it's extremely simple to set up and we don't feel like being bothered mucking about with configuring an HTPC. That last one applies mostly to me...when I was 20 years younger I would've happily tinkered away on an HTPC, but nowadays I just want to buy something and plug it in and have it work An ATV2 was the simplest solution for what I wanted. Obviously any ATV2 owner needs to understand that it's not going to have the power of an HTPC...but let's not go slagging people just for owning an ATV2. It's the same old story...don't assume that just because something doesn't make sense for YOU, that it doesn't make sense for OTHERS Anyway, we've digressed enough from the thread....we now return you to your regularly scheduled reFocus skin discussion For what it's worth, I use reFocus on my ATV2 and it works perfectly fine. |
