I use the Last.FM app on my iphone and it does this scrobbling thing. Which I think evaluates my music and any of my friend’s music to put together different play list, please correct me if I’m wrong. Any ways I have been using this app and like how it goes through my music and generates different types of play list be it smart, tags, iTunes etc….. I understand that XBMC can generate play lists either smart or non-smart. However, I like don’t like doing that maybe I’m just lazy. I also understand that you need a subscription in order to stream music and have no interest in doing that. What I would like to do is to get access to the play lists that I see in the app. Is this possible to do with your add-on? And if it is where is it?

you can only listen to the last.fm playlists if you are a paid last.fm subscriber and live in one of the countries where there service is available.

Can someone help me please? i'm getting a sript error message... i'm trying to connect lastfm on xbmc but i'm getting this ( connect failed ... Script failed : radio.py ) my last.fm username and password are correct and i living in available countrie... I'm using XBMC v12.1 (Frodo), with Win7x64.

that's not a Debug Log ;-)
you need to enable debugging in xbmc first (system > debugging > enable debug logging) , then restart xbmc.

the addon fails to connect to last.fm.
no idea why though... could it be a firewall issue?
is xbmc allowed to make outbound https (443) connections?

I never got my firewall on so that may not be a problem but how can I allowed xbmc to make outbound https (443) connections?

please install this version: plugin.audio.lastfm-0.1.4.zip
and make a another Debug Log.
hopefully it will provide some additional info on why it fails to connect to last.fm.
