I'm on windows 7 32 bits...(without aero or anything fancy...)
for the submenu,it comes and goes...don't know why...
is it possible to delete setting menu from home ( since I can access it through my remote)? From includes_home.xml maybe?

Yeah I also have no idea how to solve the recently added problem (yet)... it's a problem with the native recently added... if a list is hidden on startup, every item is empty because recently added is not yet loaded and therefore it doesn't work. So I made a workaround which hides the list after 1010ms (that's when the open animation is finished). But there are still problems and it doesn't work all the time, especially on startup.
I could add a setting for hiding the settings from home since settings are still accessible via the guide menu.

Since yesterday's build, there is a new icon on homescreen! Left to settings icon and it's supposed to be for 'play disc' or something. I'm very curious how it got there, because I didn't activate it, heck I don't even have a physical drive in my htpc

and do you intend to add different views for program add on? I'm sorry to insist but I think it would be a great feature for those who are launching games with xbmc...

Yes but first I have to play with the Advanced Launcher add-on... could take a while since I have less time at the moment. Dirty Regions won't help with the animation, it only makes things worse, at least on fast systems.... do you use the repo version or svn?

I removed them so no, no plans...
I won't do much work on this in the next couple of months... for me it's mostly ready, all I need is done and I have other things to do (XBMC skinning is very time consuming
). But feel free to add things yourself. I see if I can get program views done but that's it for now besides some small bug fixes now and then.
