Music In Subfolders - brunion1 - 2012-06-11 Alright, I've been building an HTPC using XBMC and I've hit a snag recently. I have all of my music downloaded to the box, but in order to access it, I have to sift through two or three subfolders to get to each song/album art/etc. (I downloaded it from Google Music, so everything is grouped in a artist/album/song style folder system) Is there a way to get XBMC to "ignore" the folders or do I need to run a script the put all the mp3's in one folder? It really limits the usefulness of the music player if it's in separate folders. RE: Music In Subfolders - artrafael - 2012-06-11 Welcome to the XBMC forums. If you scan your files to your music library, you can then display them in many ways (without having to navigate through your file structure): album, artist, track title, genre, etc. See here: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Music_library RE: Music In Subfolders - brunion1 - 2012-06-11 (2012-06-11, 22:55)artrafael Wrote: Welcome to the XBMC forums. Thanks, man! That was exactly what I was looking for. |
